What is True Family Engagement?
Developing Positive Connections and Meeting Families Where They Are At

In this practical workshop, we will learn the many ways that families can be engaged in their children's education, from supporting their child's daily attendance, to maintaining two-way communication with their teachers and caregivers, to becoming volunteers and leaders in their school or childcare. Participants will learn, develop, and practice concrete strategies for engaging the families of their preschool or childcare setting in the different ways that families may be ready to engage.
