Diversity: Beginning to Understand Differences

Accepting and appreciating differences is fundamental to diversity. Weaving diversity into the everyday lives of children is a way to build respect and positive identities for each child and family. There are many equally vaid ways to guide children to be healthy and thrive in the world. We will explore ways to teach children to understand differences and involve their families' cultures in your early childhood program.
