Adult Mental Health First Aid - Part 1

Mental Health First Aid aims to teach members of the public how to respond in a mental health emergency and offer support to someone who appears to be in emotional distress. Participants will learn about the risk factors and warning signs of mental health and substance use problems. We will discuss the 5-step action plan to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or is in crisis. This first session will be focused on depressive and anxiety symptoms and non-suicidal self-injury.
