In this class, you will learn how to prevent illness and promote health by following Oregon's child care rules and regulations and NAEYC's best practices for cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting. You will gain understanding of which products and tools are appropriate for use in child care settings and how to use them effectively and efficiently, in a manner that is safe for you, the children, and our planet. During class, each participant will receive a small binder with information sheets, guides, and checklists so that you can begin building your own health and safety practices manual.
