Participants in this training will learn how trauma and toxic stress during childhood impact brain development, and how to recognize the impacts of trauma on children's behavior, learning, and relationships. Participants will gain skills for de-escalating tantrums, meltdowns, and other crisis situations with children who are emotionally overwhelmed, and how to create relationships and environments that support children's resilience to emerge.
