In this session, we will explore the pyramid model for Promoting Social and Emotional Competence in Early Childhood settings. Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of teaching social emotional skills and specific strategies to teach friendship skills, emotional literacy skills, and problem solving. Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on their current practices and set goals to implement new practices.
