Play to Learn, Learn to Play
Play is the core of children’s learning. Through play, children develop and practice their skills, and build their knowledge and understanding. Through viewing analyzing and discussing various demonstrating videotapes, participants will examine how infants and preschoolers construct their knowledge. They will also examine the principles of developmentally appropriate practice as well as what brain development tells us about preschool/kindergarten classroom organization and management.
