Building a Program Embracing Diversity

In this session, we will examine the impact of cultural values, beliefs and biases on your program. We will explore culture from two points of view; the values and beliefs that you hold as a professional and; the cultural values and beliefs you observe in the families you work with. We will examine how to develop a program that values and reflects the cultural and linguistic diversity of the families and communities you serve.

    Step 1: Go to https://events.clackesd.org. Login or create a new account.
    Step 2: From your my account page click Browse Courses.
    Step 3: Click Workshops & Trainings, then click CCR&R
    Step 4: You can search by ID number or title. Add all desired courses to your cart.
    Step 5: Click on your cart and then click checkout.
    Step 6: Proceed through checkout process with a credit card. Your account will show classes you have registered for or completed and receipts. To cancel a class click on it under courses and choose cancel as the action. You will receive email confirmations for each action.
