The Empathy Approach
The Transformative Power of a Human-Centered Connection to Each Child and Family

This session is for anyone who has a relationship or interacts with children and families. It will explore deeply the concept and impact of empathy, how it differs from sympathy and how it can lead to understanding of and powerful transformative relationships with children and families. Attendees will receive Empathy training, a Ways of Being and Ways of Doing Planning tool, and they will engage in empathy building activities to apply principles in preparation for use in their classroom/center which align with work currently being done in our regional k-12 districts. Please join us for an opportunity to support Early Learning and to connect with our k-12 partners in this important effort.
