Held

Addressing Challenging Behaviors and Keeping All Children in Care
Community Forum

Participants in this community forum will look at national preschool expulsion statistics and examine how and why a high number of children are being asked to leave child care in Multnomah County. The group will reflect on their own experiences and then discuss what additional supports and resources are necessary to meet the needs of programs supporting children with challenging behaviors and special needs. We will also discuss strategies from other regions and consider if they would be effective in our communities.
