Conflict as Opportunity for Growth and Understanding

In mainstream U.S. culture, we view conflict as ending with a winner and a loser, but it’s time to view conflict through a different lens. By seeing conflict as an opportunity to deepen understanding and to gain a more complete view of the situation, we can build strong connections with others and find new solutions to old patterns. During this training, we’ll look into the problem with “default” conflict management approaches; discuss what could be possible with a new approach; breakdown the components, research and theories behind compassionate communication; and then design the participants’ unique plan to implement these ideas. Must attend both sessions to earn a certificate.
