Dialogic Reading
Enhance young children's language and literacy skills through use of a strategy known as dialogic reading, which allows children to become participants in telling the story. It is intended to be used with individual children, or small groups. Children are encouraged to engage physically with the book. Dialogic reading will increase the frequency of adult/child reading interactions, increase the quality of adult/child interactions, and to increase the time children are reading.
