Proactive Practices to Address Child Escalations
Participants will explore their assumptions and understanding of behavior and child development and examine how escalations can be predicted, identifying typical behaviors at the stages of escalation. We'll explore and practice multiple strategies to prevent escalating children and respond in de-escalatory ways that that allow children to develop good emotional regulation skills and maintain safety for children and adults wil be covered.
