Trauma, Hope, & Healing

Description: Adverse Childhood Experiences are common. Learn the effect of trauma on the nervous system and more importantly how YOU affect the children in your life who have experienced trauma. Learn practical ways to support children, families, and even yourself as we learn about neurobiology. Through discussion, reflection, a short video, and hands on learning activities, we will explore the neurobiology of stress, resiliency, practical sensory interventions, societal supports, and trauma resources.
