Latino Children: Using Their Resources for Success
Participants will examine that Latino children possess many valuable resources and will apply these resources to assist Latino children succeed in school. Participants will explore teacher and school's biases and will examine the social, political, and economic factors which either facilitate or preclude Latino children’s success. They will have a reflection opportunity, and will identify resources in the Latino community to succeed in school.
