Have you ever wondered how taking care of yourself is beneficial to your health? “Self-care is the Best Health-care”, will explore the different types of self-care ranging from physical to spiritual and how they can reduce health care dollars and improve your wellness over time. This class is in a group setting and includes different exercises to enhance psycho-social and emotional health. The objectives are:
– Identify the difference between health care and self-care.
– Explain how good self-care helps reduces health care dollars.
– Name the different types of self-care and how they are beneficial to you.
– Identify 3 new strategies for better self-care.
