Stress and the Brain
How to Reduce the Impact of Stress on Developing Brains

Participants will explore the complexity of brain development and the affects of stress on a developing brain. We will examine the somewhat new field of Interpersonal Neurobiology, trauma-informed care, and the implications for teachers. The group will work together to develop and practice strategies and techniques for reducing stress in our own lives and the lives of the children and families we serve.
