This workshop teaches the foundation for positive discipline, or teaching and guiding, as a strategy for working with young children. Participants will explore tools for understanding children’s behavior, the importance of developmentally appropriate expectations from birth through school age, and alternatives to using the traditional “time out” model for behavior management.
