Participants will gain a basic understanding of immunization requirements in Oregon. The importance of immunizations, the diseases they prevent, infection prevention, outbreak response and cleaning, and an overview of immunization rates in Oregon will be discussed. Information will be provided about requirements and the reporting process as well as common questions parents ask about vaccines and tips on how to respond. At the end of the session, the participants will be able to answer basic questions about immunization requirements and provide general information about the importance of vaccines.
