The more intentional and focused support young children receive around math knowledge and skill development - the greater their understanding and abilities will be. This session will examine in depth the ways in which children develop their understanding of number and operations. Participants will examine specific strategies to enhance their learning environments in order to promote children’s knowledge and skill in the area of number and operations.

Additional information

We are excited to announce a series of All 4 Math in Early Childhood trainings! These trainings are brought to us through a partnership with the Oregon Center for Career Development and the Eastern Oregon Early Learning Hub.

Training sessions are 2 to 2.5 hours long. Dates and times are listed below. The All 4 Math in Early Childhood sessions 1-3 and 4-8 are designed to be delivered sequentially (participants must attend the three Set One trainings first before they can attend the five Set Two trainings).
