Supporting Traumatized Children in the Classroom

In today's cultural climate, many of the children in our classrooms have experienced some type of trauma. This workshop will examine the various traumas children can experience and how they affect a child's growth and development. Participants will also explore various ways to provide a trauma sensitive environment for 3 to 5 year olds and methods that support the behaviors that might ensue.

    Step 1: Go to https://events.clackesd.org. Login or create a new account.
    Step 2: From your my account page click Browse Courses.
    Step 3: Click Workshops & Trainings, then click CCR&R
    Step 4: You can search by ID number or title. Add all desired courses to your cart.
    Step 5: Click on your cart and then click checkout.
    Step 6: Proceed through checkout process with a credit card. Your account will show classes you have registered for or completed and receipts. To cancel a class click on it under courses and choose cancel as the action. You will receive email confirmations for each action.
