Examining the Power of Routines and Transitions
Why Do They Matter?

For young children, especially those with high needs, transition times can often be the most difficult part of the day. Participants will examine why routines and transitions matter, as well as, planning intentionally, classroom organization, and how minimizing wait times can help to minimize problematic situations. Participants will identify challenging transitions during the day and develop strategies.
