Responsive Caregiving in Infant and Toddler Programs: The Key to Healthy Development

Participants will discuss foundational and current theories on social-emotional development. They will explore the critical role the adult-child relationship plays in infant and toddler development. Participants will examine interactions that promote and factors that inhibit secure attachment. They will identify and practice strategies to create a responsive care-giving program.
