A Chance to Help - Guiding children with challenging behaviors

Challenging behavior is described as any behavior that interferes with children's learning, is harmful to any child and/or puts a child at high risk for social problems. We do not have to look far to see challenging behavior in any early learning facility. This class will be designed to help teachers understand the why behind challenging behavior and the how in dealing with these behaviors. Many strategies will be presented for guiding challenging behavior but we will also open up for discussion between providers to share their struggles and successes with challenging behavior.
