So much of a child's learning happens during their play and exploration. With this being a child's natural way of learning, how are we to assess their learning and development without interfering with that process? This class is designed to help teachers of young children observe and assess children's learning while they play and interact with each other. The information gained from those observations can be utilized to plan curriculum as well. We will focus on how to document our observations in a way that makes them easy to utilize for planning and documentation of children's progress.
