We know prevention is the best solution for responding to challenging behaviors. We also know that when teachers and parents are working together to support children’s social-emotional development, children develop the skills they need and challenging behaviors decrease or disappear. This workshop will introduce you to information, activities and resources that you can share with families to support nurturing and responsive ways to interact with their child and increase the understanding of their child’s challenging behavior. The materials will be shared from the Positive Solutions for Families training materials (Center on Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning) and other parent resources.
