Self Care for Those Who Care For Others

As Early Childhood Care and Education professionals, our days are filled teaching, caring for and supporting children and their families. Many of us feel called to do this work and derive great joy and passion from the relationships we build. However, the continual process of offering compassion, resources, intentional caregiving and support can lead us to feel depleted, fatigued and overwhelmed at times.
Come join us for a two-part workshop to learn more about secondary trauma and the neurological and emotional benefits of caring for ourselves. We will reflect on our own self care strategies and learn from colleagues. Participants will create an effective individual self care plan to incorporate into your daily lives.
