Child care providers encounter many types of families from varying cultures. As we interact with families and create opportunities for success, it is necessary to look at our own values, beliefs and experiences and how they impact our interactions. The class will assist providers in dealing with these complex issues as well as provide ideas for activities for encouraging children to relate to others who are different from themselves.
