The ability to manipulate shapes and understand how personal and space boundaries function in society is an important math skill for young children to master. Participants in this session will explore how children develop spatial sense and their ability to manipulate shapes from birth through age five. The session will include strategies to enhance learning environments in order to provide optimal opportunities for children to learn how to manipulate shapes and develop spatial sense.
