Cooking as Curriculum

Cooking activites offer many developmentally appropriate opportunities to integrate life skills with math, science, literacy, social skills, etc. Food-related projects that take into account ages, group sizes, various settings, and the comfort level of caregivers will be examined. A hands-on culmination of the morning will be hot lunch for everyone.
