Building Brains
Activities and Information for Parents, Caregivers and Teachers of Young Children
Do you have questions regarding your young child's development? Are you interested in helping a child become a successful reader? Why are the first 5 years so important? What is it about play that makes it central to young childrenās development and learning? These questions and many more will be answered when the community's local experts come together for a unique interactive community
forum. Together we will discover the ins and outs of brain development while developing skills to encourage learning success, learning simple literacy activities that can be done at home, and exploring how learning and development takes shape through play.
This event is sponsored in part by Partnerships for Young Children and is free. Several local service providers will be
available at this event to help parents and caregivers connect with resources in the community.
