The Teacher as a Learner

Being an active learner means reflecting on our own feelings, thoughts, and actions, and how they affect our classroom community. Examining the interplay between teacher behavior and children’s behavior, we look at ways to use observation as a tool to support us in following the child. Guidance and positive discipline and techniques for classroom management will be topics of interest. Generous time for questions and problem solving will be offered in this session.
