This workshop is specifically designed for child care providers that are interested in growing their skill set in order to serve children with a variety of special needs. We will define and explore trauma informed care and will examine a child’s typical developmental stages. Participants will learn about ADHD, sensory disorders, anxiety and depressive disorders, physical and sexualized behaviors, and developmental and intellectual disorders. Join us as we discuss the different interventions for children experiencing these disorders. Hear from representatives about locally available resources. These workshops will be presented by professionals in the field.
