Exploring Infant/Toddler Social Emotional Development through a Trauma-Informed Lens

Participants in this interactive and didactic training build on their professional experience working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and families using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches to intervention services to promote healthy social emotional development, early learning and lifelong health. Topics covered are neuroscience, trauma-related causes of challenging behaviors, secure and insecure attachment, fetal brain programming, epigenetics and resilience. Participants leave with their own plan for embedding trauma-informed approaches to services into their work strategies.
