Recognizing Bias, Inequity & Moving to Cultural Fluency

This course will begin by examining the participants personal role and beliefs about race, power, advantage & justice, and how these issues impact organizations/institutions. Participants will gain an understanding of the term “institutional racism” and how it differs from individual racism and historical markers will be able to identify opportunities to recognize and productively interrupt institutional racism within policies, practices and procedures.
