Meeting the Social/Emotional Needs of Young Children

In this workshop we will review the emotional development of young children, using Eric Erikson's Stages of Development.  We will address ways that caregivers can interact with children to meet the child's needs.  the presenter will address developmentally appropriate behaviors which look like misbehavior, help caregivers re-frame negatives to positives and address current concerns for individual caregivers.  The presentation will contain a mixture of lecture, group exercises and individual process.
