The use of Observation and Assessment for planning and improving learning centers

Within the context of developing children's fine motor skills, the participants will identify each of the fine motor skills, explore a toolbox of activities that assess a child's use of each of the fine motor skills and then practice using what they observe about children to plan a manipulative and/or sensory center. Finally, they will practice using an evaluation tool to improve their own manipulative and sensory centers.
