Diversity: Best Practices in Family Child Care

Embracing diversity is important to the success of Family Child Care (FCC), builds higher quality ECE environments and for highly successful relationships with children, families, staff and community. Participants will critically examine specific diversity issues such as micro-aggression, racism, ageism, and sexism. Participants will evaluate their program and their own diversity identity while analyzing diversity research, theories, techniques and resources to increase diversity and inclusive, anti-bias environment in their Family Child Care (FCC).
