This workshop emphasizes the importance of appropriate safety practices in child care settings. The identification of safe environments for children as well as the exploration of creative safety activities that engage children are key components in this workshop. There is also a family involvement piece which seeks to reinforce the parent-provider relationship and provide children with a sense of continuity.
