Magda Gerber’s Educaring Approach: Part Two
Continue to explore the work of early childhood innovator, Magda Gerber, and her mentor, Hungarian pediatrician, Dr. Emmi Pikler. While Part One focused on the theory and key ideas, part two will give you concrete examples of putting
relationship based care and free gross motor development into practice every day. Part two provides the student with knowledge of the eight Educaring Principles, designing the environment, planning the curriculum, the role of the caregiver, and working with parents to create a holistic support system for the infants and toddlers in our care. As Magda Gerber said, learn to "see infants with new eyes" after taking this class!
