First Foods: Nutrition Foundations for Infant & Toddler Growth and Development

An infant’s vitality and successful development depends on good nutrition in the first year of life. As infants transition to childhood, nutrition needs shift and feeding demands change. In this training, participants will explore the connection between feeding and development and identity the unique nutrition needs of infants and toddlers up to age 3 years. We will explore the components of a wholesome diet and examine physical activity recommendations reflecting best nutrition practices for infants and toddlers.
