Using a lens of attachment to understand brain development and behavior

This class will draw on various evidenceā€based programs and interventions to provide an understanding of attachment theory and how child care providers, teachers, and foster parents can use this to gain a greater knowledge of how to help children in their care. We will examine the connection between a child's attachment and his or her subsequent development and behavior; we'll also offer tools for providers to use with young children from various backgrounds.
