Using a lens of attachment to understand brain development and behavior

This class will draw on various evidence‐based programs and interventions to provide an understanding of attachment theory and how child care providers, teachers, and foster parents can use this to gain a greater knowledge of how to help children in their care. We will examine the connection between a child's attachment and his or her subsequent development and behavior; we'll also offer tools for providers to use with young children from various backgrounds.
