C5: Cultural Effectiveness and Racial Equity Conference

The C5 Conference celebrates culture, community, color, collaboration, and contribution within contexts of education and social service among diverse people groups. Participants will be presented with a framework for approaching intercultural communication, along with principles for integrating racial equity across their scope of work. Skills will be practiced in identifying differences in areas such as experience, thought, values, and traditions. Guided dialog will help participants to assess organizational norms related to equitable functions. Opportunities for understanding terms related to intercultural interactions will be given, along with appreciation for regional representations of historical and current diverse contributions.
