Let's Play: How Games Cultivate Early Math Skills

We often think "reading" when we talk about building early literacy skills with infants and young children. Math literacy is just as important to start addressing from birth on and the games we play with our children are a great way to "mathematize" our children's world. Develop mathematical language and conceptual understanding through toys, games and conversation. This will be a very active session and you will leave with great ideas to use tomorrow.
