Outdoor Environments for Early Learners: The Power of Playing Outside

Play is a wonderful teacher! It invites children to imagine, create, and problem solve. It helps them learn how to get along with each other. It enhances cognitive development and motor control. Using art, sand, clay, blocks and water-Michelle's workshops will demonstrate ways to create environments that invite creative, cooperative play. The morning workshop will focus on PLAY in the indoor environments and the afternoon session will focus on PLAY in the outdoor environments
