Before and After a Disaster

In addition to program preparation, it is helpful to prepare children, youth and families for disasters. Following a disaster, staff, families, and children may need assistance in coping with the aftermath. This workshop will explore best practices for help children and families prepare for a disaster. We will provide strategies to strengthen your skills and link to resources for recovery following a disaster. This workshop is for people who have already designed a plan for their program.
