Using Observation to Select Children's Literature to Support Social Emotional Development

Social emotional skills are a "hot topic" in early education. Participants in this workshop will view social emotional video snipets, applying the running record observation strategy. To create links between authentic observations and individualizing curriculum, participants will examine children's literature books as a source to teach social emotional skills.
