Helping Trauma Affected Parents
This class will help providers recognize the warning signs of family discord and how to approach a parent in crisis. Different types of emotional, financial and physical abuse will be discussed as well as why certain types of stressors are invisible. You will learn about community resources and how to locate and refer to trauma informed services.
