Habits of Mind as Learning Outcomes in Young Children

How do we measure learning outcomes in our high-quality, Reggio inspired, inquiry-based classrooms? Judy Graves, Founding Director, Opal School of the Portland Children’s Museum will share a current project that explores the development of habits of mind and learning stories as a useful and effective way for teachers to gather information to guide teaching and learning while at the same time documenting children’s learning outcomes in high-quality, inquiry-based preschools.
